Visit with the Grandparents

Connor had a great couple of days visiting with his grandparents.  He really enjoyed meeting his Grandpa Wolejko, and loved being held by his Grandma.  Connor also helped celebrate his Aunt Whitney's birthday a few days early, and even gave her the gift that he picked out himself.

 

March Madness

Even though his Tigers lost early, Connor has had a busy couple of days watching basketball with his Dad.   He had a fun St. Patrick's Day, and I resisted my urge to add some green food coloring to his milk.  Connor's two week doctor's appointment was also on Thursday, and we are proud to report that Connor weighted in at 9 lbs 10 oz and was in the 75th percentile for both height and weight.  We were brave enough to venture out of the house a couple of times this weekend, and Connor did a fantastic job of napping in his stroller.

Celebrating Two Weeks of Connor!

We can't believe that it has already been two weeks since Connor was born.  We have enjoyed every single moment, and are happy to report that his eating and sleeping have been fantastic!  Connor continues to be very active, and we were lucky enough to catch one of his play sessions on video.  Please excuse Ben's celebration when he rolls over.

Spring Has Sprung!

It was a gorgeous weekend and really felt like spring!  With temperatures in the upper 70s both days this weekend (sorry New Englanders...Ben even got to cut the grass this morning), we thought it was the perfect opportunity for Connor to make his big debut in the neighborhood.  Another important milestone happened on Sunday night while watching bracket analysis when Connor turned over twice on his activity mat!  While we didn't catch this on video, I have a feeling that he is going to be doing lots of flipping around, and we'll have another chance to see him in action.

Whitney and Chris visited on Friday night.  This was Chris' first time holding a baby, and I swear he didn't even breathe or look up the entire time.

Our First Post - March 11, 2011

Ben and I have been following the baby blogs of our friends for some time now, and we are thrilled to start our own posts of little Connor.  We were very lucky to have so many members of our families in town for his arrival, but now that things have cooled down, we wanted to make sure everyone is still able to keep up with his every move.  I'm a little new to the world of blogs, so please cut me some slack as I figure this all out.
